Multi-service delivery policy

How we manage situations where you receive more than one type of support from us or from Access Support.

Choosing more than one service

  • Many participants choose to receive several supports from us because it simplifies communication. This is always your decision.
  • Taking one service from us never obliges you to take another, and declining a service never affects the supports you already receive.

Informed choice

  • Before you add a service, we explain what it includes, what it costs, what alternatives exist and any conflict of interest.
  • Where we provide support coordination, we will always offer alternative providers for the supports being coordinated.

How multi-service delivery works

  • You have one primary contact who coordinates across services so you do not repeat your story.
  • Each service keeps its own goals, notes and reviews, but shares information only with your consent.
  • Rostering is planned together so appointments and shifts do not clash, and travel is minimised.
  • Separate budgets are tracked against the correct NDIS plan categories, and you receive clear statements.

Safeguards

  • Clinical decisions by Access Support clinicians are made independently of any commercial interest in daily supports.
  • We review multi-service arrangements at least every six months to check they are still the best fit.
  • You can stop any single service at any time, with the notice period set out in your service agreement.
  • Questions about this policy can be directed to our quality team on 1800 498 454 or ndis@accesssupport.au.
  • You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544 or at ndiscommission.gov.au.

This policy is reviewed annually, or sooner if legislation changes.
